When you take an in-person Summer Workshop at the Fine Arts Work Center, you're giving yourself 15 hours of intense workshop time, creating work with a renowned instructor alongside other committed artists and writers. And that's not all you're getting! Your studios are available to you 24/7, so you can really sink into your work. You can attend 3 evenings of provocative readings and talks led by faculty members who are teaching workshops that week, not to mention an evening of readings and open studios to share your work and be inspired by the work of your peers.

In any given week this summer, you are surrounded by up to 70 other writers and artists who are also taking workshops on-site for the week, and can enjoy our upgraded grounds and facilities. And the Work Center is located in the heart of Provincetown, the most enduring artist community in America and a bustling summer destination full of art galleries and wonderful restaurants. What's more, Provincetown is located in an incredibly beautiful natural environment, at the tip of Cape Cod, surrounded by water. A workshop at the Fine Arts Work Center will inspire you on all these levels, as it has done for artists and writers for decades.
