From: Festival of Contemporary Art MusicThis festival has been a long tradition at WSU and celebrates new works and the dedication to performances of these works. Previously known as the Festival of Contemporary Art Music, WSU is committed to broadening our vision of inclusionary music, performers, and collaborations.
This year we welcome visiting composer Dale Trumbore, in a special collaboration with WSU choirs premiering a new composition commissioned for the festival.
We are excited to announce our 2024 season (February 29 through March 2) of concerts and events for FOCAM.

Thursday, February 29
Concert 1: 11:00-11:50 a.m., FOCAM sneak peak - Kimbrough Concert Hall
Event: 6:30 p.m., Kimbrough Concert Hall: Panel discussion
Concert 2: 7:30 p.m., Featuring music by the in-residence piano trio, Palouse Trio - Bryan Hall Theatre
Friday, March 1
Concert 3: 3:10 p.m. Multimedia concert - Kimbrough Concert Hall (no livestream available)
Saturday, March 2
Concert 6: 7:30 p.m., Featuring the works of guest composer Dale Trumbore, including the premier of Learning to Breathe with WSU Choirs and the Palouse Choral Society - Bryan Hall Theatre
