10am - 6pm: Rafting

Enjoy Riverfest by rafting the beautiful Animas River!  Roll through Class I and II rapids, and splash through one wet Class III.  Animas Park put-in to Boyd Park take-out near Miller Street.  Rafts will run every hour.  Meet your guides at the put-in.  Trip reservations can be made at the DRG booth in Rocky Reach Landing and at the put-in. Life Jackets and a professional guide are provided. After the ride, a shuttle bus will take you back to Animas Park put-in.  An additional shuttle will be looping from Animas Park to the main parking lot at Berg Park – off of San Juan Boulevard.  Schedule your trip or purchase in advance by emailing Desert River Guides at [email protected] or calling 505-427-7734.

12pm: Plein Air Painters Sunrise
Enjoy works in progress, or view, vote, and purchase at the Fine Arts Tent at River Reach Terrace.  A Silent Auction will also be held.  Winner by popular vote will be announced Saturday at 4pm at the Little Pavilion.

Disc Golf
2022 Kokopelli Game (GDG $5K/10K event)
7am check-in – 8am players meeting – 8:30am start
2-day event, 1 round per day. There will be a raffle awards ceremony BBQ on Sunday after the final round!  Day 1 will be at Berg Park.  Day 2 will be at Aztec Disc Golf Course.

8am: Riverfest Fun Run
Kick-off summer with a 10K, 5K, or 2-mile walk at Riverfest this Memorial Day weekend! Organized by the Farmington Recreation Center this fun run/walk is open to the whole family. $20 for the runs, $12 for the walk. Register by May 27 by 4:00 pm at the Farmington Recreation Center, 1101 Fairgrounds Rd, Farmington, or online at fmtn.org/WebTrac under "Sports/Athletics."

9am – 9:45am: Yoga Flow Class
This all-level class will be provided by Sacred Rebel Yoga.  Class will take place under the pear trees near the Little Pavilion at River Reach Terrace.  $10/person.

10am – 11:30am: Music by Shawn Arrington Band at River Reach Terrace
10am – 11:30am: Music by Delbert Anderson at Rocky Reach Landing

11am – Noon: Wiener Dog Races
River Reach Terrace.  Races take place at The Arena at Berg Park (near the intersection of Scott and San Juan Blvd)

Register:  Saturday 9:30am to 10:45am in front of race gates.  $10/dog.  Proceeds benefit River Reach Foundation.

11am – 2pm: Riverfest Raft Parade

For the love of the Animas! The Riverfest Raft Parade and costume contest for rafters, kayakers, and other river users.  The launch is at 11:00a.m. Sunday at Animas Park near the Animal Shelter and goes to the Miller Street take-out.  Private rafters, teams from local businesses and organizations, kayakers, canoers and anyone who wants to float the river can compete for the most outrageous costumes while highlighting the fun that the river provides. Winners of the costume contest will be announced at the little Pavilion at River Reach Terrace at 3:00pm. If your company or organization is interested in sponsoring a raft and getting a team on the water contact Desert River Guides. 6 rafts available with guide for $100 per team, bring your costumes and a banner or sign and have fun on the water. Private boaters please do not block the turn around at the put in or access to the take out ramp. parking at the take out is limited. Enjoy the Classic Car Show sponsored by Four Corners Old Car Club at Cottonwood Landing.

12pm – 5pm: One Nation Gourd Dance Club
At All Veterans Memorial Park.  One Nation Gourd Dance Club will host a Gourd Dance to honor all Warriors and Veterans.  Closest access and parking is South Tucker Ave off of San Juan Boulevard.

12pm – 5pm: Andean Tradition at Berg East
12:30pm – 1:00pm: Riverfest Recycled Fashion Show
At the Little Pavilion at the River Reach Terrace.  Prizes will be awarded for First, Second, Third Place in both Middle and High School categories.

Watch the plastic duckies race down Willetts Ditch, near Rocky Reach Landing.  Entry only $5/ticket.  Sunday sales end at 1:45pm and are only available
that day at Rocky Reach Landing.  River Reach Terrace ticket sales end on Saturday at 8:00pm.  Online sales end at midnight on Wednesday, May 25, 2022.  Click the button below for tickets.  Proceeds benefit River Reach Foundation and Kiwanis Rio del Sol.  Need not be present to win.

Free Shuttle Service
The Riverfest Express, provided by Red Apple Transit, is free to all Riverfest guests both Saturday and Sunday.  Shuttle service runs every 30 minutes, and begins at the Farmington Museum with stops at:
