This year’s festival will be in conjunction with the Fall Arts & Crafts Festival centered around Mill Street, with special events at other locations throughout the Danville community.
Enjoy living history presentations, historic tours of Danville, train rides, live music, vendors, great food, fireworks, hikes, and much more!

Location: Hess Recreation Area(843 Meadow Ln, Danville)
Join Van Wagner and Bob Stoudt for a relatively easy 2.6 mile-long walk around the J. Manley Robbins Trail / Old Reading Line Trail loop to learn about the history of the oldest rail-to-trail in the United States.

Time Traveler Tour:
Danville Then & Now
Location: CVS Pharmacy (tour starting location)
Explore Danville's past and present through a collection of historic photographs and visit exact spots where the images were taken! Join Danville native Andy Gutknecht as we "time travel" through more than 200 years of Danville history, while enjoying a leisurly alk through downtown. Please wear comfortable walking shoes and bring a smart phone or tablet, if possible.

Train Excursions
Location: Danville Middle School (252 Northumberland Street)
Experience a scenic train excursion in vintage passenger cars along the Old Canal Route and the Susquehanna River. Grab your ticket and climb aboard to enjoy the history and beauty of our region. A memorable ride the whole family will enjoy!
Three round trip excursions are available. All rides depart from the Danville Middle School - 11:00 a.m. (towards Bloomsburg); 1:30 p.m. (towards Bloomsburg); and 3:30 p.m. (towards Northumberland). Each round trip is $15 per passenger and is non-refundable*. Lap children (ages 2 and under) are no charge. Act now, there are a limited number of tickets available! Purchase them here.

Location: Montour County Courthouse(253 Mill St, Danville)
Join us for a presentation by Van Wagner and Danville Area High School students regarding the vital role mules played in the Danville-area mining industry.

Eel Dam River Walk w/ Van Wagner
Location: F.Q. Hartman Recreation Area(400 W. Front Street)
Join Van Wagner for a walk to the remnants of the eel dam in the North Branch Susquehanna River (river levels permitting). Meet at the FQ Hartman Recreation Area parking lot. Please bring your own life vest.

Danville Heritage Concert
Location: Danville Area High School (733 Ironmen Lane)
Van Wagner and friends (DASD students and alumni) will take the stage to perform songs about the Danville region's history. Donations will be accepted to benefit the Danville High School FFA.

Montgomery & Boyd House Museum Tours
Montgomery & Boyd House Museums (corner of Bloom/Mill
Street, Danville, PA)
Tours are an hour long and take place at 1:00 p.m., 2:00 p.m., and 3:00 p.m.
Tour the home of Danville's founding family as well as a wealth of relics that relate to the history of the area. The Boyd House is also home to one of the best military collections in northeastern PA.
Tickets are $5/person per Museum
