It's Finally Happening...

Five years ago next month, I made a promise to the EverWonder staff and board that I would do everything in my power to move the museum to a permanent, larger, forever home within 5 years. (skin of my teeth!)

These past few years have been wonderful, amazing, and inspiring, but almost equally frustrating, discouraging, and challenging. Three years ago, the pandemic closed children's museums across the country and EverWonder was weary of a future at all. However, maybe as a blessing in disguise, our members and visitors shared that they needed us more than ever before and our small museum slowly returned to normal but didn't stop growing! Over the past year, we outgrew our space and unfortunately/fortunately have been selling out tickets every week.

We are proud to finally share that after years of anticipation, ups, and downs, we have found our forever home at 11 Mile Hill Road, happily planting permanent roots in Newtown where it all began. While no one could have predicted the future, I'm proud of our history & where we're going. I believe that everything happens for a reason, and we are right where we're meant to be.

At our new location, we are gaining:

- A beautiful 20,000 square foot building (top floor to start) in a prime, easy-to-get-to location
- 3 large classrooms for additional programming, parties, and field trips
- Almost double the exhibit floor space
- Additional office and storage rooms
- Exterior space for future development and projects
- Capacity limits double+ to reach more visitors each day

We are working hard to balance running our current museum for the remainder of May while renovating our new space ASAP so we can enjoy a bigger, brighter museum in June. We will have a Grand Re-Opening in late June to welcome everyone to EverWonder's forever home with lots of deals, demos, and tours all weekend!!

Just as I promised EverWonder 5 years ago, I promise to put EverWonder and all our patrons first and help us continue to grow to be the best place for families to learn and grow together. Let us help you wonder, think, and be inspired!
