Evanston Public Library Board seeks search firm for new director

The Evanston Public Library Board of Trustees has issued a request for proposals for an executive search firm to guide its search for a new Library Executive Director. 

The Board is seeking a firm to conduct a wide-reaching search and provide a slate of qualified candidates for the position, which will oversee an award-winning public library serving 77,000 residents. The Board has been engaged in a thoughtful and deliberate approach to the search for a new executive director, including soliciting feedback from community stakeholders in anticipation of soliciting a search firm.
