San Francisco, CA: The Cartoon Art Museum presents the art of Age Scott in the latest installment of its ongoing Emerging Artist Showcase. This exhibit features a selection of Scott’s ongoing comic strip The Age Page.
Artist, educator, activist and raptoonist Age Scott is best known as the creator of Won and Phil, The HipHop Heroes. The Bay Area native has been a vital part of both the local comics and music scenes for three decades, and has been a mainstay at concerts, comic book conventions and the classroom as he brings his love of art and music to the community.
A reception for the artist will be held on Sunday, January 19, 2025 from 6:30-8:30pm as part of the Cartoon Art Museum's BCAF XXV Party, a joyful celebration of creativity, diversity and the vibrant world of Black and Brown creators in the comic arts. This reception is free and open to the public.
