In celebration of Active Aging week, Emerald Court, a Kisco Lifestyle community, recently hosted a heartwarming senior prom. The evening was filled with music, dancing, laughter, and memorable moments captured at the photo booth. One of the highlights of the night was the crowning of the prom king and queen. 

Residents Lyman Grover and Doroty Baca were crowned as prom king and queen. The couple met through a discussion group at Emerald Court and attended the prom together. Their story highlights the importance of building meaningful connections later in life.  

“I was so excited to dress up for the prom,” said Dorothy. “Lyman and I both enjoy slow dancing, and we are excited to dancing the night away. My advice to younger couples is to stay active, have fun together and appreciate each other’s company.”
