Eastman Presents: April 2023 Concerts

Looking ahead to the Eastman School of Music’s remaining Eastman Presents concerts for spring 2023, we are pleased to showcase globally celebrated visiting artists, as well as our renowned faculty members. 

Faculty Artist Series: Eastman Virtuosi, Saturday April 1, 2023, 7:30 p.m. Kilbourn Hall

Eastman Virtuosi is a chamber ensemble composed of Eastman’s outstanding faculty members and student performers.

John Scofield in Concert, Saturday April 8, 2023, 7:30 p.m. Kilbourn Hall

With more than 40 recordings to his credit, Scofield is one of the principal innovators of modern jazz guitar. Join us for a rare solo performance by this triple Grammy Award–winning artist.

Faculty Artist Series: Jan Opalach, Bass-baritone, Sunday April 16, 3:00 p.m. Kilbourn Hall

Bass-baritone Jan Opalach performs a program of music by Bach, Mozart, Schubert, Debussy, Ives and John Duke.

Eastman Piano Series: Bruce Liu, Friday April 28, 7:30 p.m. Kilbourn Hall 

The winner of the 2021 Chopin Piano Competition in Warsaw, among several other accolades, Canadian pianist Bruce Liu is a major new keyboard talent. For his Eastman debut, Liu presents a program of thrilling Chopin masterpieces.
