CONCORD, N.H. – On Jan 23rd, Governor Kelly Ayotte released the following statement on New Hampshire Democrats’ plan to raise taxes on all Granite Staters:

“The Democrats’ plan is tax hikes for all of New Hampshire – that’s a hell no from me. While the Democrats want to use the Massachusetts playbook and tax their way to a balanced budget, we’re going to do this the New Hampshire way by living within our means and making our government more efficient and effective.”

New Hampshire Democrats have filed a bill to increase the business enterprise tax, business profits tax, and meals and rooms tax, as well as reestablish the interest and dividends income tax.
