- Starting today at 10 a.m. EST, you can help name the newest female baby of the Zoo’s gorilla troop! Tune into “Baby Gorilla Cam” on Netflix on demand or live every Thursday from 10 a.m. to noon through September.

- There’s only 8 dates left to experience the record-breaking Asian Lantern Festival presented by Meijer. Don’t miss this unique afterhours event at Cleveland Metroparks Zoo.

Ride Your Bike Through The Zoo At Wild Ride!

Wild Ride returns Sunday, September 17 from 6 to 9 p.m. Enjoy a family-friendly bike ride through the zoo at this one-night-only after-hours event. The ride offers guests one last chance to experience the illuminated lanterns from this year’s festival from their bike. Bikes are required and tickets are on sale now!

Save The Date: Children's Health Expo At Cleveland Metroparks Zoo

Join MetroHealth for the final Multicultural Children's Health Expo at the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo on Monday, September 11 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Children and their families will be able to interact with MetroHealth caregivers, receive important health information, and discover fun ways to stay active and healthy. The expo includes music, giveaways, hands-on activities, face painting and more. As part of the event, MetroHealth will also be offering vaccinations at no cost. - Search the prairie and forest of Brecksville Reservation for the colors yellow and purple at Hike for Tykes. Free, ages 3-5 with adult.

- Explore the trails around the Rocky River Nature Center at Twilight Stroll. Free. 

Sat., Sept. 9:

- Join us at From Pier to Peninsula to learn history of Edgewater Park and Wendy Park. Free.

- Come make art from natural materials at Pop Up: Cyanotype Sun Printing in North Chagrin Reservation. Free. 

Sun., Sept. 10: Work with naturalists on a slimy science experiment at Bubble Blast in West Creek Reservation. Free. 
 
Tues., Sept. 12:

- Take a 2-hour history tour aboard the eLCee2 at Cuyahoga River by Boat. $20, registration required. Additional dates available.

- See what’s happening around Hinckley Lake at Hiking for the Young at Heart. Free.
