FREE SUMMER LEARNING FOR KIDS
There are just a few weeks left for Cleveland Metroparks’ award-winning Kids Nature Lunch & Learn series. The free summer learning series with the Greater Cleveland Food Bank connects youth with limited access to learning opportunities across the Park District. There are remaining dates Wednesdays at Euclid Creek Reservation’s Highland Picnic Area, Thursdays at Bedford Reservation’s Hemlock Creek Picnic Area and Fridays at Lakefront Reservation near Edgewater Beach.
POLLINATORS ARE BUZZING!
Throughout summertime, pollinators are busy buzzing around all of Cleveland Metroparks in search of the tasty nectar hidden within flowers. While they are gathering nectar from a variety of flowers, they’re continually pollinating them, and helping each plant successfully reproduce. Stop by the gardens surrounding our nature centers to witness the mutually beneficial relationship between the flower and pollinator.
