- Free concerts: Cleveland Metroparks Summer Concert Series presented by Serpentini Chevrolet kicks-off tonight, Thursday, May 18, with Sammy DeLeon (Latin Jazz) at Emerald Necklace Marina in Rocky River Reservation.
- Fishing fun: The annual Children’s Fishing Derbies are back this weekend at Wallace Lake on Saturday, May 20 and Ohio & Erie Canal Reservation on Sunday, May 21.
- Baby news: The Zoo’s gorilla troop is growing (again!). Baby gorilla Kayembe is set to be a big brother later this summer following the exciting news that Kebi is pregnant. You can visit the troop daily at the Zoo’s Primate, Cat & Aquatics building.

PATIO SEASON IS HERE!
It’s patio season in Cleveland Metroparks including at Merwin’s Wharf and e55 on the lake. Both restaurants are open Tuesday through Sunday for waterfront dining all summer long. Stay tuned for more summer openings including concessions and water taxi service.

- Learn how to spot and identify bumblebees with a naturalist at Bumblebee Exploring in Bradley Woods Reservation. Free.
- Get up-close with an Eastern screech owl at Children’s Nature Hour in Brecksville Reservation. Free, grades K – 5th grade with adult.
- Join a naturalist for Wildflower Walk in the Woods and explore Bedford Reservation in search of flowers. Free.

- Learn how to provide the food, water, shelter and space that our native wildlife needs during the indoor program: Creating a Backyard Wildlife Habitat in Rocky River Reservation. Free.
- Explore the wetlands of West Creek Reservation at Critter Dippin’. Free.

- Happy hopping is happening here at West Creek! Borrow a net and help us search for hopping frogs, toads, and more at Happy Hoppers in West Creek Reservation.
