From: City Of CharlestonThis year, we have a lot of unique camps to offer and we're excited to present them to you in our 2023 Summer Camp Guide! With camps in Daniel Island, James Island, West Ashley, and Downtown, we guarantee there is one that will fit the needs and wants of your child.
Registration Information
All gymnastics camps open for registration on Saturday, March 11 at 8:30am. You can register in person at James Island Recreation Complex or online.
Days camps at Bees Landing (Camp Live Oaks) and James Island (Summer Fun) are open for registration on Saturday, March 18 at 8:30am. Registration is in person only. Families will only be allowed to sign up for 2 sessions max.
All half-day camps and clinics, such as tennis, golf, dance, athletic, cooking, etc. will open on Saturday, March 18 at 8:30am. You can register in person at any open recreation facility or online.
Day camps at Arthur Christopher (Jump to It), St. Julian Devine (Kids Alive) or Forest Park (Summer in the City) will open for registration on Saturday, March 25 at 8:30am. Registration is in person at Arthur Christopher or 823 Meeting Street or online.

Junior Counselor Leadership Training Program
Interested in learning leadership skills and assisting at a camp this summer? The Recreation Department is now taking applications for our Junior Counselor Leadership Program for ages 13-15 at 4 different campsites.
