Public Input Meeting: ADA Playground & Park Expansion - December 3, 2022

Saturday, December 3, 2022 from 9 AM to 11 AM at the Northwest Recreation Complex Large Pavilion (Behind Amphitheater)

Your voice matters! We are looking for your input on two exciting projects coming to the Northwest Recreation Complex: A new phase of park expansion and the development of an inclusive ADA playground.

Visit the Large Pavilion behind the Amphitheater at the Northwest Recreation Complex on Saturday, December 3, 2022 between 9 AM to 11 AM to provide your input.

Clydesdale Christmas
December 2, 2022 from 3 PM to 5 PM at Kit Land Nelson Park
This event will be honoring the legacy of Firefighter Austin Duran. This event is free and will be hosted by Austin's Army.

Annual Apopka Tree Lighting & Holiday Market
December 2, 2022 from 6 PM to 8 PM at Kit Land Nelson Park

Apopka Arts in the Park 2022
Saturday, December 3 from 9 AM to 5 PM and Sunday, December 4, 2022 from 9 AM to 4 PM at the Apopka Amphitheater

Celebrate community at the 2nd Annual Apopka Arts in the Park.  Enjoy music performances and see art displays by students from Orange County Public Schools at the Apopka Amphitheater.

Support artists and crafters with your last-minute holiday shopping purchases. Grab food from one of the festival vendors. Free admission and parking. Visit the Apopka Arts in the Park page to learn more.

Jingle, Mingle, Tree Festival 2022
Saturday, December 3, 2022 from 4 PM to 8:30 PM at Camp Wewa

This family-friendly event includes beautifully decorated trees and wreaths for silent auction, raffles, food, sounds of the season, Christmas carolers, s'mores, around the campfire, Christmas cookies, special appearance by Santa, and more! All proceeds to benefit the Epilepsy Association of Central Florida to fund an Epilepsy camp event at Camp Wewa.

Music To My Mind Holiday Spectacle Band Concert:
A Holiday Spectacle
Sunday, December 4, 2022 at 7:30 PM at the Apopka Community Center/VFW
This concert will feature the Music To My Mind Jazz and Symphonic Bands. Featuring band classics and holiday favorites.

46th Annual Christmas Parade "A Festive Florida Christmas"
Saturday, December 10, 2022 from 10 AM to 12 PM
Presented by the Foliage Sertoma Club of Apopka and the City of Apopka

Holiday Pops with Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra
Saturday, December 10, 2022 from 5 PM to 7 PM at the Apopka Amphitheater

The City is proud to host this free event, featuring a special family-friendly concert from the Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra with Conductor Mauricio Cespedes Rivero and vocalists Brandon Martin and Katie Pinder Brown.

Free seats available in the Amphitheater and lawn/grass area on a first come, first serve basis. VIP Tables available for purchase on our Eventbrite page. Parking is free. This event is rain or shine.

Wreaths Across America
Saturday, December 17, 2022 at 12 PM

The VFW Post 10147 Apopka/Altamonte Springs/VFW Post 10147 Auxiliary (FL0760P) will be helping Edgewood/Greenwood Cemetery to remember and honor our veterans by laying remembrance wreaths on the graves of our country's fallen heroes.
