City of Apopka Alert Holiday Office Closure: Martin Luther King Jr. Day
City Hall and offices will be closed in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day on Monday, January 16, 2023.

Recycling Done Right 2023 Magnet
The Public Services Department would like to inform our residents to expect their 2023 Recycling Magnet in the next few weeks.

Apopka Citizens Police Academy
Apply today for our next academy beginning February 23, 2023!
This program allows those who are not sworn police officers, to acquaint themselves with the activities of the Apopka Police Department. There is no cost for the Citizens Police Academy, but there are certain requirements in order to attend. Participants must be 18 years and older.

Spring 2023 Apopka Youth Soccer - Registration Now Available
Apopka Parks & Recreation is offering Youth Soccer this Spring 2023 to boys and girls ages 4 through 13. Practices will begin the week of February 27, 2023. Games will begin on Saturday, March 25 through May 13, 2023. Cost is $110 for city residents and $140 for non-residents.
Online registration is open until January 29, 2023 on our Rec1 site.
Summer Youth Program 2023
Are you a high school student between the ages of 15-19? You can earn at minimum $1,200 while investing in yourself and your future. Students can now apply for CareerSource Central Florida Summer Youth Program for Summer 2023 online with special code: AYW23.
This program is aimed at helping young adults train and achieve meaningful careers through talent solutions that ignite potential.
Apopka Youth Works
The City of Apopka, Apopka Area Chamber of Commerce, and CareerSource Central Florida provide local students with unique opportunities to explore a variety of rewarding careers in the Apopka area. Apopka Youth Works (AYW) introduces Apopka area high schoolers to the world of employment.

Summer Job Opportunities
The Apopka Parks and Recreation Department will be seeking qualified individuals to join our team. We are seeking energetic, motivated, and creative individuals for our summer 2023 camp program.
Various positions available in a variety of areas: Camp Coordinators, Lead Counselors, Camp Counselors, Sports Specialist, Rock Wall Specialists, Arts and Crafts Specialists, Lifeguards, Bus Drivers, and Facility Attendants.
