Holiday Pops with Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra
Saturday, December 10, 2022 from 5 PM to 7 PM at the Apopka Amphitheater
The City is proud to host this free event, featuring a special family-friendly concert from the Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra with Conductor Mauricio Cespedes Rivero and vocalists Brandon Martin and Katie Pinder Brown.
Free seats available in the Amphitheater and lawn/grass area on a first come, first serve basis. VIP Tables available for purchase on our Eventbrite page. Parking is free. This event is rain or shine.

2nd Annual A Nutcracker Christmas at the Museum of the Apopkans
December 11, 2022 from 2 PM to 6 PM
at the Museum of the Apopkans (122 E. 5th Street)

Wreaths Across America

The VFW Post 10147 Apopka/Altamonte Springs/VFW Post 10147 Auxiliary (FL0760P) will be helping Edgewood/Greenwood Cemetery to remember and honor our veterans by laying remembrance wreaths on the graves of our country's fallen heroes. Register Now for Winter Camp 2022
Dates: December 19 through 22 and December 27 through 30, 2022
Time: 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM
Location: Billie Dean Community Center
Cost: $64 per child/per week for residents and $80 per child/per week for non-residents
The Apopka Recreation Department offers camp for children needing care during Winter Break, for children ages 6 to 12 years old. Camp is offered from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM at the Billie Dean Community Center.
This camp is for those looking to have a fun and educational experience over Winter Break. The camp will include educational activities, arts and crafts, and a lot of fun.

Apopka Police: 9 PM Routine
The idea is simple, you routinely set an alarm on your smart phone, watch, or another device to remind you to start the following 9 PM Routine.
At 9 PM do the following:
- Take all valuables out of your vehicles & lock the doors
- Set the alarms
- Secure the family bikes
- Close the garage door
- Turn on exterior lights
- Lock all windows & doors to your home

FEMA Debris Removal
The City’s FEMA Contractor, Crowder Gulf, is making the final pass for debris removal in neighborhoods.
Note: The Contractors Will Be Picking Up Vegetation Debris Only. Do Not Mix Construction Debris (fences, plywood, lumber, etc.) Or Trash With The Vegetation Debri S. We have strict FEMA guidelines to follow.
Reminder: FEMA is helping our community with storm related debris. This pickup is not for new tree trimming or tree removal. Removal of new debris, that is not storm related, are subject to home owner charges.
