Ho Tam is a renowned independent publisher and artist who explores media representation, race, and sexuality through diverse mediums. From painting and drawing to photography and video, Tam’s work poignantly examines what it means to be Asian, intersecting the personal with the universal. During his residency at 41 Ross, Tam will delve into the neighborhood's rich immigrant history, drawing inspiration from his interactions with community members and local zine artists to create exciting new works.

CCC: Advocating for the Arts
Advocacy
CCC proudly hosted the API Council’s Mayoral Town Hall in September, successfully uplifting key issues important to the underserved API community and connecting these needs with the Mayoral candidates. Discussions ranged from food security to housing and addressing cultural funding disparities, emphasizing the community's right to cultural space and providing a platform for these vital conversations. Collaborating with artist Summer Lee, a series of performances showcased Chinatown's unique arts and culture as part of the event.
Hear from all the candidates on NBC Bay Area.
