From: Chesapeake Fire and Ice FestivalChesapeake Fire & Ice will again feature dozens of ice sculptures spread throughout Easton’s historic district. The event will kick off Friday night with live music and ice carvings on February 16. Outdoor ice skating will be open by nightfall and the streets will be alive with fun! Live carvings will be all over town, including one sponsored by presenting sponsors Preston Automotive Group and Bay Security/Safehouse, LLC – all outside and easy to view with a stroll through town!
The festivities continue all weekend with opportunities to tour the ice sculptures. Events will include an activity filled Fire Trail, family fun events, outdoor ice skating, children’s icehouse at the Talbot County Free Library, entertainment, seasonal sales and shopping, restaurant specials, lodging specials, and more

TOUR OF ICE SCULPTURES
FRIDAY - 5 - 9 P.M
Enjoy a free self-guided tour of the beautifully designed ice sculptures in downtown Easton! Each sculpture is sponsored by a local business or organization and offer great photo opportunities. You’ll also meet some of the the designers and sponsors of the ice sculptures. Grab a festival map from the , the Easton Visitor Center, or download so you’ll know exactly where to go and where to be during the Chesapeake Fire & Ice Festival
LIVE SCULPTURE DEMONSTRATIONS
FRIDAY - 5 - 9 P.M
The featured attraction of the Friday Night is the on-site carving of incredibly detailed ice sculptures, presented by Preston Automotive Group and Safehouse LLC. You’ll have a chance to see the artists work their magic as the sculptures takes shape from huge blocks of ice! There will be live music, entertainment, and other fun events!
OUTDOOR ICE SKATING
FRIDAY - 5 - 9 P.M
VISITORS CENTER PARKING LOT (11 S. HARRISON STREET)
Come and enjoy the opportunity to skate outside in Easton during the festival! If you are worried about bringing your own skates. Special equipment is needed, street ice skates are not allowed. Skates will be provided for anyone who wants to go on the rink so just bring yourself and your friends. Admission for skating is also completely free. The synthetic ice rink is sponsored by Bluepoint Hospitality.

Award-winning and crowd favorite Cascading Carlos will perform Friday night from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. andCarlos has fascinated and entertained children and adults alike for over two decades – don’t miss out on both of his performances! Friday will feature fire and Saturday will be a daytime show in Thompson Park – try your hand at juggling with his friendly interactive show. Click here to find out more about Carlos.
Talbot Humane also returns this year with their furry friends for their kissing booth! Meet some of the cutest, friendliest animals on the Eastern Shore Friday night and Saturday on Goldsborough Street. You can find these lovely creatures Friday from 5 p.m. to 7p.m
