Hello fans and friends of the Center Theatre,

We have a little event coming up on June 24th, it’s the Maine Whoopie Pie Festival! Not only is it the Center Theatre’s biggest annual fundraiser, but it also benefits dozens and dozens of other local organizations and businesses. We need a lot of help to pull this thing off and I wonder if YOU could be that help? Even if you can only be here for a couple hours sometime on Saturday the 24th you can contribute! Volunteers get free entry to the festival, 50% off festival t-shirts, and the satisfaction of being part of the biggest one-day event around!

We usually have over 70 volunteers start to finish, but right now we barely have 1/2 that many. So please, if you can help click here to fill out our Volunteer form or email Tammy at [email protected] - Thanks!

And let’s not forget all the goodies on the calendar for this weekend:

- Fast X - 6:30 each evening, 3:30pm matinees Saturday and Tuesday)

- Erica Brown and the Bluegrass Connection - Friday at 7pm.

- Teen Travelling Show Auditions - Saturday 11am to 2pm

- The Delicious Divas - Saturday at 6pm

and last but not least

- New Neighbor’s Block Party - Sunday 4pm to 7pm

So no excuse for not getting to the Theatre this weekend - looking forward to seeing you!

Erica Brown and The Bluegrass Connection is a five-piece band featuring some of the finest musicians in New England. The band features award winning fiddler and singer Erica Brown, Matt Shipman on mandolin, Lincoln Meyers on guitar, Eli Gilbert on banjo and Kris Day on bass. A fun and energetic band, they incorporate a unique and diverse blend of original and traditional music from their Bluegrass, Folk and Country influences.
