Female Focus presents four women who share a life-long passion for the visual arts with emotive abstract paintings by Shirley Blake, vibrant and colorful realism by Ruth Epstein, expressive watercolor and acrylic paintings by Julie Siler Olander and dramatic landscapes by B. Deborah Vahab

The Art of Betty Harper

A realist artist for most of her life, Betty Harper has always been inclined to work abstractly. Painting abstractly gives her viewers an opportunity to interact and relate to her paintings individually, bringing their own life experience as the starting point for an appreciation of her art.
