San Francisco, CA: The Cartoon Art Museum (CAM) announces its third annual Graphic Novel Readathon taking place from February 18 through March 4, 2023 in conjunction with Will Eisner Week, to celebrate the creativity and diversity of graphic novels. This grassroots crowdfunding event has helped to create more awareness and interest in graphic novels while raising funds to help the museum thanks to the hard work of enthusiastic readers, museum staff and board, and matching donors. This year our goal is to raise $5,000 with your help and support. Let’s get reading!

Taking part in the Readathon is easy: simply sign up on our Campaign Page. click on linked item and click change link to: https://app.99pledges.com/fund/graphicnovelreadathon Once you’re registered, share your link with family and friends through email or social media. Ask supporters to pledge either by the number of books you complete—or just set a dollar amount. Then, start your list of books you want to read!

Funds raised will be matched!

Contributions to this fundraiser will be matched dollar for dollar during our $50K matching grant challenge! The top three fundraisers will receive one year Family memberships to the museum. Five runners up can receive CAM swag, including pencils, stickers, and museum passes. 

What the fundraiser supports:

Funds raised from this event will be used to support the museum’s technology upgrades, educational supplies for our workshops, and the continuation of educational services directly to the public and discounted for schools and libraries.
