September 9, 2023

10:00 AM - 2:00 PM: RenFest Job Faire

Autumn is around the corner and with it comes the Carolina Renaissance Festival.  Pirates, Nobles, Mermaids and Knights - it takes a village!  Come work at the region's largest costume party!

The Festival hires 350 seasonal employees on an annual basis.  Employees will have the opportunity hawk turkey legs and ale, sell admission tickets, greet guests, and more.

October 7 - 8, 2023

9:30 AM - 5:30 PM: Kids Free Weekend

October 14 - 15, 2023

9:30 AM - 5:30 PM: BrewFest Weekend!

Learn the time honored craft of beer brewing!  Sample a selection of fine micro-brewed ale!  Play a series of RenFest Beer Games!

Adventurous costumed ladies are invited to flirtatiously strut their stuff in the Saucy Maiden Costume Contest!  All in good, clean fun of course!  Prizes will be awarded.

BrewFest activities start at 12:00pm at the Haven (behind Edgewood Stage).  Sampling sales end at 3:15, sampling last call is 3:30, and activities end at 4:00 PM.

October 21-22, 2023

9:30 AM - 5:30 PM: Celtic Music Weekend!

Special guest musicians Magnus & Maggie join Festival mynstrel's to present a bevy of your favorite Celtic music! Don't miss CRAIC and The Reelin Rogues!  WIN TICKETS for a return visit and much more! Hunky Highlanders are encouraged to show their stuff in the Men of Skills Competition! Contests include a Test of Strength, a Test of Confidence, and a Test of Skill. All in good fun! Prizes will be awarded. Contest 3:00 p.m. at The Haven (beyond the Edgewood Theatre) Huzzah!

CRAIC performs 4 times each day a the Edgewood Stage!
The Reelin Rogues perform 4 times each day at the Tree Top Stage!

October 28, 2023

9:30 AM - 5:30 PM: Halloween Daze and Spooky Knights

Already the Carolinas' largest costume party, the Carolina Renaissance Festival becomes the place to celebrate Halloween! Enjoy FREE Child Admission with no coupon required for all children ages 12 and under. Free child tickets are made available online at www.carolina.renfestinfo.com/buy-tickets with date selection of October 28 or October 29. Children must have a ticket. Adults accompanying children must already have a ticket if event date has sold out.

Children and parents alike enjoy the fun and safe trick or treating experience with free treats to be found at over 100 locations throughout the Festival Village. And pick up your Hungry Howie's Halloween Treasure Map at the Front Gate and search the village for the Queen's Treasure Chest filled with prizes!

Win Free Tickets for a Return Visit (and other prizes too)! Children and adults are also encouraged to show off their Halloween costumes and enter the Halloween Costume Contest! All costumes are welcome! Contest starts at 3:00 at The Haven (beyond the Edgewood Theatre) Huzzah!

In addition, a full day of regular Festival entertainment is complimented by the Knights of the Living Dead zombie jousting challenge happening three times daily throughout Halloween weekend. And don't forget, the Festival is a great place to buy your Halloween costume or costume accessories!

LanguageLine Solutions and Central Piedmont College are proud to partner with the Carolina Renaissance Festival to provide a renaissance experience for members of the Deaf Community.  Certified sign language interpreters will interpret stage performances at select stages located inside the village.  Anyone interested in Deaf awareness is invited to share in this special occasion.

ARRRRGH! It's foolish pleasures and pirate's treasures!  Plunder the Village with early Holiday shopping and save at the Fairhaven Village Marketplace!  Enjoy special guest performances by the Pyrates Royale!

Special Pirate entertainment & costume contest! Plunder the Village for festival arts & crafts and receive FREE Festival admission for a return visit for the remainder of the 2023 season.  Spend $250 or more on the day you attend and receive 1 FREE Adult Ticket.  Spend $350 or more on the day you attend and receive 2 FREE Adult Tickets. Awarded tickets are valid for any remaining date of the 2023 season.  Offer valid for purchases made Nov. 4 or 5, 2023 only. Receipts must be redeemed on the date that purchases were made and cannot be combined over the course of the two day weekend.  Present receipts on day of purchase at the info booth located outside village entry to receive tickets. One offer per person.

You don't need a passport to Time Travel to the 16th Century! Come as you are or dress as your favorite time traveling character inspired by movies, TV, comic books, science fiction and/or fantasy - all costume genres welcome!

Win FREE Tickets for a return visit (and other prizes too) in the Time Traveler's costume contest! Contest starts at 3pm for children and adult contest to follow immediately after at the Haven (located beyond the Edgewood Theatre).

9:30 AM - 5:30 PM: Final Huzzah

Chomp a Turkey Leg before Turkey Day and don't miss the last chance of the year to experience your best day out in History!

Children ages 5-12 are FREE with a donation of can food items at the Festival entry (ages 4 and under always free).  Adults accompanying  children on “free child admission” promotional dates must already have a ticket if event date has sold out.

Can food drive benefits the Second Harvest Food Bank of Metrolina.
