JULY 25TH, AUGUST 10TH, 15TH - GRANT INFO SESSIONS

BRONX CULTURAL VISIONS FUND (BCVF)

The application cycle for the Bronx Cultural Visions Fund (BCVF) is open! Don’t miss the opportunity to obtain a grant ranging between $10,000 and $20,000 for the development of new concepts and the production of new work in the performing arts. The application deadline is Monday, August 19th at 11:59 PM.

Applicants are strongly encouraged to RSVP for an Info Session to learn more about the application process and grant-writing tips for the success of your application.

  • Saturday, August 10, 2024, 11:00 AM - 12:30 PM

AUGUST 24TH - FREE FILM SCREENING AT BCA HQ BRONX WORLD FILM

Calling all film enthusiasts! SAVE THE DATE for the next FREE film screening at BCA HQ! BCA is proud to partner with Bronx World Film to host a film screening on Saturday, August 24th. At this FREE event, attendees will enjoy a full day of contemporary world cinema featuring a curated marquee of works by young filmmakers of color, women, and Bronx creators.

Ricardo “Luss” Nigaglioni is a singer-songwriter and teaching artist born and raised in The Bronx. Luss’ creative practice is informed by blending various genres such as R&B, Soul, Hip Hop, and Salsa into a unique musical palette. Luss' production of Street Studios is a unique multidisciplinary installation that combines songwriting and music production into an interactive performance and recording experience. Learn more.

Robert Dick is a composer, performer, and improviser. He began composing and improvising in the 1970s, driven by the core idea that acoustic instruments can be played as human-powered synthesizers, and by his love of continuous transformation of sound. Robert is developing a body of music for the Robert Dick–Ursel Schlicht duo. Learn more.
