OPENING RECEPTION - LONGWOOD ART GALLERY @ HOSTOS

Save the date for the Opening Reception of I Stood My Ground to be held on Wednesday, March 27th from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM. This new exhibition is part of the 2024 Longwood Art Gallery @ Hostos season titled Against the Grain, which seeks to challenge hegemonic narratives and advocate for the restitution of overlooked stories to build up a more inclusive historical account. 

APRIL 1ST DEADLINE - OPEN CALL FOR ARTISTS
BRONX MEMOIR PROJECT VOLUME VIII COVER ART

BCA invites Bronx-based photographers and visual artists to design a cover for Bronx Memoir Project Volume VIII, a multi-genre anthology written during the 2023-2024 Bronx Memoir Project Workshop Series. The selected artist will receive a stipend of $500.

The application deadline is Monday, April 1st at 11:59 PM.
