Healing with Housing: Decriminalizing the Unhoused & Mentally Ill
Thu, Feb. 23 at 7PM ET
Presented by BRIC TV in partnership with The City, this #BHeard Town Hall will bring together experts and leaders to discuss proactive and sustainable approaches to engaging with those living at the intersection of mental health issues and housing insecurity.
Pia Monique Murray has been named the Intergenerational Community Arts Council (ICAC)'s 2023 Artist-in-Residence!
Murray, a multidisciplinary artist dedicated to community engagement and audience interaction, and will work with the ICAC on Spread Love, an original Hip-Hop and performance community tour.
The Gotham Film and Media Career Development Program 2023
Applications Due Feb. 24
BRIC is partnering with The Gotham to run a portion of their Film and Media Career Development Program! The program allows students to learn from industry professionals and provides the resources needed to make informed and strategic decisions as they complete their academic studies.
The Gotham will be hosting two 6-week virtual sessions this summer, and select participants from the first session will spend an additional two weeks recording and editing a pitch presentation at BRIC.

Root Cause: Black American Circus (work-in-process)
Thu, Jan. 26 at 2PM and 6PM
Join us for a work-in-process showing of "Root Cause: Black American Circus," a self-produced musical project by 2022/23 BRIClab Performing Arts resident Cleo Reed.
Cleo guides us through the narrative driven pre-performance of their debut album while integrating the aesthetics and movement of 20th-century circus performance.
