Featured Artist: Sue Ann Cox
Sue Ann began her pottery adventures as a 4th act in her lifelong artistic journey at The Center for the Creative Arts in Yorklyn, Delaware. Clay work had always intrigued Sue and she found her home in 2015. As a Clay Artist and Floral Designer Sue was inspired to create exclusive Enchanted Flower Cottages and Fairy Accents inspired by the 19th Century primer, “The Language of Flowers”. She is guided by the hand of nature and fairy lore to bring a sense of whimsy to homes and gardens throughout Delaware and beyond. Sue creates each charming fairy cottage by combining years of professional floral design, love of the clay arts and a lifelong passion of fairy culture and enchanted gardens. Each stoneware piece is meticulously hand built, glazed and high fired in Sue’s Delaware home studio. Sue Ann has been a yearly and active participant in The Brandywine Festival of the Arts beginning in 2016.
