ARTIST HIGHLIGHT: ORGAN FAIRCHILD
Friends on the Farm!
Returning yet again to the Borderland are our great friends of Organ Fairchild! What we are honored to call a sort of quasi-residency, Organ Fairchild has become a staple at Borderland Festival serving as a beacon of Buffalo-made live music.
“What it might sound like if Jimmy Smith and Grant Green were leading a jam band at Bonnaroo” - The Buffalo News.
Jam scene mainstays Joe Bellanti, Corey Kertzie and Dave Ruch met in 1983 as members of Buffalo NY Grateful Dead cover band “Wild Knights,” a group that still plays reunion shows to this day. Voted #1 out of 64 emerging NY bands in 2021, Organ Fairchild have been described as a musical party that won't quit. These friends form an old-school organ trio (organ, guitar and drums) with dance-heavy grooves and adventurous jamming.
Don't miss them also on stage this year with the Borderland Dead All-Stars.
