Summer Reading starts June 12th! Middle and High Schoolers are invited to take part in our Teen Scratch Ticket Challenge. Earn small and medium prizes or the chance to win an Amazon Gift Card or Mystery Raffle Basket by checking out books, completing reading challenges, volunteering, or attending library programs.

Join us in reading and discussing Leonard (My Life as a Cat) by Carlie Sorosiak. Register for your Nutmeg Kit for pick-up in the Children's Department. Snacks will be provided!

Henna By Elyse

Monday, June 26th

2:00-3:30 pm

Grades 5+

Registration is required. 

Join Internationally Certified Natural Henna Artist Elyse Sadtler for an informational workshop to learn all about this ancient tradition of Henna. In this workshop you will explore what henna is, where it comes from, its history, cultural significance, the science of henna on skin and basic design elements. You'll also play a trivia game, watch a henna paste mixing demonstration and learn how to draw a mandala. Participants will also receive a henna design on their hand.

DIY Squishies

Wednesday, July 12th

6:00-7:30 pm

 Grades 5+

Registration is required.

Come and create your own squishy at the library, and take out some of that stress on a loveable foam friend. Paint your own squishies in whatever designs your creative mind can come up with!
