The Folk Festival And Craft Show, a beloved annual event, returns for its 28th year on the second weekend in November. This free festival is a highlight of the season, drawing approximately 17,000 visitors and 70 vendors to Southeast Oklahoma, perfectly timed to enjoy the stunning fall colors.
This year’s event promises a delightful blend of turn-of-the-century arts, historical demonstrations, and enchanting Celtic and early American music. The outdoor food court will offer tantalizing cuisine, and visitors can enjoy one-stop holiday shopping, exploring rooms filled with handcrafted wooden toys, unique arts and crafts, Oklahoma wines, textiles, and much more.
The Beavers Bend Folk Festival And Craft Show is made possible through the dedicated efforts of the Forest Heritage Center Advisory Board, Oklahoma Arts Council, McCurtain County Tourism Authority, Oklahoma Tourism and Recreation Department, and Oklahoma Forestry Services. The festival is open to the public, with hours from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm on Friday and Saturday, and 10:00 am to 4:00 pm on Sunday.
