Bronx Council on the Arts (BCA) Announces Second Round of Bronx Cultural Visions Fund (BCVF) Grantees.

Bronx, NY -  The Bronx Council on the Arts (BCA) is thrilled to announce the second year grantees of the Bronx Cultural Visions Fund (BCVF). Supported by the Howard Gilman Foundation, BCVF aims to provide a meaningful level of support to emerging and mid-career performing artists and performing arts organizations for the express purpose of developing new ideas and producing new work. Representing a new level of support and investment in the field by BCA, applicants are able to apply for one of two types of support: concept development, awarding up to $10,000 for compelling ideas in need of seed funding; and production, awarding up to $20,000 for new works ready to be produced in front of a live audience.

We are excited to be able to support this cohort of talented Bronx-based practitioners in the performing arts. Final selection of BCVF grantees was especially difficult due to the large number of exceptionally talented applicants, reflecting the breadth of talent in our borough. However, an invited panel of seasoned professionals in the field of performing arts from throughout the city worked hard to determine the final BCVF recipients.
