Cajun Jam this week brought to you by the CFMA FREE in the Performance Center 1-3 PM. This week's featured guests will be Sheryl Cormier and David Greely. Bring your instrument and jam along or bring your dancing shoes and dance!
Bal du Dimanche
Come dance at Vermilionville! Bayou Vermilion District & Vermilionville host live music, EVERY SUNDAY from 1-4 p.m. THIS SUNDAY, BLAKE MILLER & THE OLD-FASHIONED ACES. Admission is only $10, FREE for Vermilionville members, and includes a self-guided tour of the living history museum. AND -- THIS IS NEW -- if you attend the Zydeco Dance Lessons at 11 AM at Wildcat Brothers Distillery in Gator Cove, show your wristband in the Visitors Center for $2 off admission! Learn the moves, then come to Vermilionville to show 'em off!!
Come early and grab lunch at Vermilionville’s restaurant -- open from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. and features an all-you-can-eat buffet on Sundays.

December Events
December will be a busy month at Vermilionville -- lots of exciting events, another Les Mains Guidee Workshop, and holiday fun for all! December 3, join Kate Ferry and make santons ("little saints") out of Sculpey, which then gets fired and painted. The workshop is 10 AM - 3 PM. Find more informaiton HERE.
Our first-ever Gingerbread House contest is coming up, December 6-16. Entrants can create their favorite building, structure of feature of Vermilionville out of gingerbread fpr fun and prizes! More on that, CLICK HERE.

New Year's Eve Dance with Geno Delafose and French Rockin' Boogie
Ring in the New Year with Geno Delafose and the French Rockin’ Boogie! Don’t miss the biggest party of the year at Vermilionville with delicious food, drinks, and dancing with Geno Delafose, New Year’s Eve at Vermilionville.
Lobby opens at 8 p.m. Doors open at 8:30 p.m. with music from 9:30 PM – 12:30 AM. Food and beverage are available for purchase. Admission is $35 per person and includes a complimentary glass of champagne at midnight.
All funds from this annual event will go towards programs that promote and preserve local cultures in Acadiana.
