Livermore, CA – Livermore Valley Arts has announced the 2024-2025 Bankhead Presents season through February 28th, which will start officially on September 7, 2024, with the Brilliance at The Bankhead gala starring Katharine McPhee, star of Broadway’s Waitress, TV’s Smash, and runner-up on the fifth season of American Idol. The nearly three dozen events include live performances, from international stars to local Tri-Valley favorites. Among the varied performers in the Bankhead Presents series will be famed music icons Karla Bonoff and JD Souther, previous Best New Artist Grammy-Winners Marc Cohn and Colin Hay, knockout music groups American Authors and 10,000 Maniacs, nostalgic thrills Forever Motown and Big 80s Live, comedy treats David Koechner—The Office Trivia with Todd Packer and Gary Gulman, choreographic gems Syncopated Ladies and Rhythm India: Bollywood and Beyond, returning favorites Funny Women of a Certain Age and Doo Wop Project Holiday Show, world delights for the season Tres Souls—Boleros De Navidad and Kings Return Holiday Show, and iconic evenings through Rae Dorough Speaker Series with John Lydon AKA Johnny Rotten and John Cleese. Livermore Valley Arts Members have exclusive presale access to the new season from April 17 through May 1 at noon, with general public on-sale set for Wednesday, May 1 at 12 pm. The 2024-2025 Bankhead Presents series will be at the beautiful Bankhead Theater in Downtown Livermore.
