SUBJECT:  PSA – Back-to-School

OLYMPIA, WA:   Whether your youngest headed off to college,  you are a parent home-schooling children, or they are going to school during the day, “Back-to-School” means our routines change.  These changes can cause stress or anxiety in our pets.  They may do things or act in ways out of the normal.  The best way to manage this is to keep any routines, such as feeding times, the same.

If you don’t have pets, you may feel a bit lonely.  One of our furry companions at Animal Services might be just what you need to cure those “Back-to-School Blues.”  Our adoptable animals are looking for someone special to give them a forever home, so consider adding a new kiddo to the family this school year. These fur babies won’t outgrow their clothes, need new shoes, or money for college!  Check out adoptable pets by visiting us at 3120 Martin Way or online at www.JointAnimalServices.org
