PROVIDENCE, RI — Acknowledging?the importance of consistent attendance?in education?and?in alignment with the #AttendanceMattersRI campaign, Governor Dan?McKee?and?Commissioner?Angélica?Infante-Green?are pleased to highlight the top elementary, middle,?and?high?schools?with the greatest average?weekly attendance.

The following?schools?are Rhode Island’s attendance?leaders?for the week of January 20, 2025*:

Elementary:?Oak Lawn Elementary School, Cranston – 97.1%  

Middle: Times² STEM Academy, Providence** – 97.2% 

High School: Lincoln High School – 99.2% 

Special recognition is extended to the following schools for demonstrating the most improved average attendance rates from the previous week:

Elementary: Arlington Elementary School, Cranston – 6.9% 

Middle: Times² STEM Academy, Providence** – 4.8% 

High School: Lincoln High School – 7.7%
