PROVIDENCE, RI — Acknowledging the importance of consistent attendance in education and in alignment with the #AttendanceMattersRI campaign, Governor Dan McKee and Commissioner Angélica Infante-Green are pleased to highlight the top elementary, middle, and high schools with the greatest average weekly attendance.

The following schools are Rhode Island’s attendance leaders for the week of February 10, 2025*:

- Elementary: Hope Valley Elementary School, Chariho – 98.1%

- Middle: West Broadway Middle School, Providence – 97.4%

- High School: Segue IFL Legacy High School – 95.6%

Special recognition is extended to the following schools for demonstrating the most improved average attendance rates from the previous week:

- Elementary: Arlington Elementary School, Cranston – 10.2%

- Middle: Samuel Slater Middle School, Pawtucket – 8.0%

- High School: Apprenticeship Exploration School, Cranston – 12.5%

The Governor and Commissioner express their gratitude and encouragement to all schools in Rhode Island for their ongoing efforts to prioritize attendance and reinforce the value of consistent learning experiences for all students.
