Discover the diverse birdlife of the Roaring Fork Valley with ACES on Tuesday mornings throughout the summer. Birders of all levels are welcome! Outings meet at ACES’ Hallam Lake Nature Preserve or Rock Bottom Ranch.

Join an ACES Naturalist for a guided hike this summer and learn about natural history, local ecology, and more. Free tours happen daily at the Maroon Bells, Aspen Mountain, and Snowmass. First come, first served!

Come explore ACES’ backyard and discover species of conifers and deciduous trees. Join ACES' Naturalist Program Director or ACES' Forest Program Director on this hour-long walk around the Hallam Lake neighborhood to identify local trees.

Explore Rock Bottom Ranch at your own pace. Pick up one of our self-guided tour booklets and learn about life at the ranch, from our vegetable hoop houses to livestock pastures.
