March Madness (Library Style!)
Come in during the month of March to pick your faves for adult and YA books each week. We'll announce the winners at the end of the month (no trophy, we don't go that far :)
Friends of the Ashland Library Book Sale
The Friends 2 day Book Sale and Donation Day is back!
Friday, March 3 @ 6-8pm
Saturday, March 4 @ 10-4pm
Shop for gently used book for all ages - March is a long month, so you'll need to stock up! You can also drop off donations at the same time.
If you cannot make it at this time you can drop off small donations in the drop box that is in the lobby of the library.
All proceeds of the Friends book sales fund the 100 % of the amazing programs, museum passes, and summer reading initiatives at the library. We'd be lost without our Friends!

We welcome author and veterinarian, Philip Schott, to our virtual stage! He will be discussing his latest book "The Battle Cry of the Siamese Kitten", how his veterinary practices informs his stories, and the path to publishing. We hope all of our pet/author/speaker lovers out there will join us!
Environmental Justice Film Screening and Discussion: "RiverBlue"

Join us for a viewing and discussion of "RiverBlue", which documents the profound and alarming impact of textile factories serving the fast fashion industry in Western countries, on rivers in Bangladesh, China, India, and Indonesia. Leading clothing designers propose more sustainable methods. Ashlander, Rajashree Ghosh will lead the follow up conversation.
