Falcon's Eye Theatre, of Folsom Lake College, is holding auditions for two plays (The Tempest, and Antigone) on Tuesday, January 24. You do not need to be a student of Folsom Lake College to participate, but you do need to make an appointment to audition.

Audition information

-All actors must present a monologue on the first night of auditions.

-Both plays are holding auditions at the same time and place. You will be seen by both directors simultaneously. Actors cannot be cast in both productions, but you may ask to be considered for a specific one at the time of auditioning.

-You must make an appointment by visiting Falcon's Eye Theater's website. Please prepare a one minute classical monologue written by Shakespeare. Monologue must be memorized.

-Please bring a resume and head shot (if you have one) - you may also email this ahead of time.

Callback information

-Callback auditions are by invitation only and will be held on the above dates.

-Callbacks will consist of cold readings from the text, so it is recommended that auditioners are familiar with the story of Antigone and/or The Tempest before auditioning.

Rehearsal Dates

Antigone: February 6 through April 6, 2023

The Tempest: February 3 - May 11, 2023
