Art Night at the Off Track Gallery, June 3, 2023, from 5:30 to 8:30pm

The public is invited to a reception at the Off Track Gallery.

Enjoy an evening of visual art as Encinitas civic and local art galleries swing open their doors at Art Night Encinitas. The event celebrates the city’s diverse visual art scene at participating locations — of which the Off Track Gallery is one — and is free to the public. Enjoy live music by the Bud Brothers and light refreshments.

There will be an Arts Award Ceremony for the Small Image Open Annual and also the Merit Awards for Achievement, honoring several deserving student artists. SDAG donations to the students are made possible from the proceeds of the annual Mother’s Day Weekend Art, Garden, and Studio Tour

The featured artist for the evening is Laurel Roberts. Laurel has a passion for painting coastal art, both locally and worldwide. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Fine Art from SDSU, and has a certificate in art therapy. She has extensive experience both interior and exterior murals, design work and teaching art. Laurel believes each person has innate creativity within them, and finds great joy in helping bring out their talents.  Her teaching includes being the Resident Artist onboard several luxury cruise lines, and teaching adult painting classes through college extension programs.

The tri-monthly art open house benefits artists through the sale of their art and provides the public an opportunity to interact with artists and learn about the creative process.

All artwork that is currently in the Off Track Gallery will be on sale for 10% off all day Saturday, March 4, from 10 am until closing.

The Off Track Gallery is owned and operated by the San Dieguito Art Guild, a non-profit, 501(c)3 organization made up of over 200 talented local artists.
