GivingTuesday was born and incubated at the 92nd Street Y and its Belfer Center for Innovation & Social Impact in New York City. GivingTuesday is now an independent nonprofit and a global movement that inspires hundreds of millions of people to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity. 

As a not-for-profit 501 (c) (3) visual arts organization, the Art League of Long Island depends on our generous donors to support our efforts to provide Long Islanders high- quality arts education programs, public art exhibits and events.  In the days leading up to Giving Tuesday please take a moment to remember the moments shared at the Art League and how those moments have positively affected your life and those of your classmates, fellow artists, and fellow visitors.  A donation in any amount would go a long way towards paying it forward so that others in the greater community may also share in the benefits provided by the Art League. 

There are so many ways to support the Art League.  First and foremost, monetary donations go a long way towards funding our ability to provide services, but it's also the energy and commitment of dedicated volunteers, those who can donate new supplies, or offer professional services that are needed to sustain the Art League's programs.
