In addition to the exhibition, our zookeepers and educators will host informative sessions, engaging demonstrations and exciting animal encounters on festival day. Get ready to meet some of our beloved animal residents and hear captivating stories about their lives, habits, and the conservation efforts dedicated to their well-being.

Beyond the thrill of observing magnificent creatures, we have also organized a variety of family-friendly activities and entertainment to add an extra layer of excitement to your visit. Watch talented artists create paintings of the animals during the day while enjoying ambient live music throughout the zoo. Additionally, young adventurers can look forward to an opportunity to create their own wildlife-inspired crafts!

You may feel inspired during your visit to the Baton Rouge Zoo, so on event day, we are hosting a silent auction where you can bid on wild works of original art and prints. As part of our commitment to wildlife conservation, the proceeds will go directly towards supporting conservation initiatives and research projects aimed at protecting endangered species and their habitats.
