From: Arizona Bao and Dumpling FestivalThe Arizona Bao and Dumpling Festival is partnering with the Martin Auto Museum to host its 4th annual event. Explore all the different varieties of baos and dumplings from traditional to creative interpretations.
What is a bao? From Food Republic, a bao or known as a steamed bun or baozi is a "complete meal conveniently packed away in a white, warm, soft bun." Or what we like to say, an amazing delicious experience.
Baos are a form of dumplings and you can try different dumplings from various cultures from takoyaki to potstickers. This year's theme is cars and baos!
Follow Bao and Dumpling Festival to be kept up to date on all of the local businesses who will be coming. Tag your photos with #azbaodumpling
Tickets include free parking at the museum, a bao sticker, and a curated dumpling experience. This is a one stop shop to support local and try from a variety of food vendors and purchase anime merchandise. Children 12 and under are free for both the festival and Martin Auto Museum.
The Martin Auto Museum is indoors with more than 170 vehicles, including classic cars, hot rods, customs, and imports. Explore a variety of cars on a self guided tour and most vehicles you can step in behind the driver's seat and take a photo! The museum also features a large collection of auto memorabilia, antique gas pumps, and signage.
The arcade is free. No food and drink is allowed inside the museum. We suggest after trying different dumplings to check out the museum. Re-entry is allowed into the festival. Admission is bundled with entry into the Martin Auto Museum for most tickets.
Refunds are available up until 8 days before the event.
For our fourth year, the event is outdoors. We will have local food businesses and menu prices range from $5 - $17. We will also have a curated anime marketplace with local artists. Boba, desserts, and other Asian dishes will be available too. Parking is free in in the parking lot. We highly encourage carpooling or rideshare. Feel free to cosplay!
All food and drink is sold separately. All of the local businesses will be collecting their own sales. They do not offset the event production costs. Most vendors will accept both cash and card. We do recommend bringing cash for this event and coming with a group of your friends and families to try a little bit from everywhere! Event times will be staggered to improve flow of the event. You can stay as long as you like and ticket times are only for how early you can arrive.
Early admission - Please arrive at 10:30am
