THE APOLLO'S NEXT PRESIDENT & CEO MICHELLE EBANKS

We are pleased to announce Michelle Ebanks as The Apollo’s next President & CEO.  

Ms. Ebanks has extensive experience in media, entertainment and live events. She is the former President of Essence Communications, where she oversaw the nation’s leading media and communications company dedicated to African American women, including Essence Magazine and the internationally renowned Essence Festival for Culture. 

Ms. Ebanks will succeed Jonelle Procope after her 20-year tenure at The Apollo and begin in early July.
