From: Afro House: Spirit FestWellness + Spiritual nourishment from Black creatives
We turn to Black History Month to reflect on the past while dreaming of the future. So many of us forget to care for ourselves in the present, overlooking the spiritual compass inside. How can empower ourselves to blossom in an often-unforgiving world? What does mental health and spiritual wellness look and feel like? On 2/18, the Anacostia Arts Center will host Afro House: Spirit Fest from noon to 6 PM. The day long festival will include live performances from local creatives , a creative marketplace, and a wellness roundtable.
