FEATURES
YOUNG TALENT EXHIBITION
Returning this Spring to the Affordable Art Fair NYC is the ever-popular Young Talent Exhibition, a dedicated platform supporting emerging contemporary artists and curators. This edition we’re delighted to present Effloresce, a new body of work from artist Khae Haskell curated by Arts Gowanus‘ Executive Director, Johnny Thornton. This exhibition explores the relationship between the urban and the botanical, honing in on the often overlooked details of the ever-evolving NYC landscape.
UNDER $500 WALL
With a dedication to presenting affordable art that everyone can discover and collect, Affordable Art Fair NYC is excited to showcase a collection of works priced under $500. A longstanding and much-loved feature, the Under $500 Wall is the perfect place to start out your fair journey and an excellent tool for the emerging collector.
FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM
This March, Affordable Art Fair NYC will continue its new Fellowship Program inviting emerging Tri-State Area arts organizations to submit curatorial proposals to participate as exhibitors in a dedicated Fellowship booth on Level 2 of the Metropolitan Pavilion.
The program is intended to grant an opportunity to up-start arts organizations in the Greater New York area to showcase their community’s work to a wider audience of collectors and enthusiasts. For the Spring 2023 edition, Affordable Art Fair NYC is thrilled to welcome back Brooklyn-based Established Gallery to participate as the inaugural Fellow.
