From: AerospaceFestCelebrate all things aviation and space at our annual family festival!
You're invited! Our annual AerospaceFest is happening rain or shine, on September 16th, 2023, from 10:30am-4pm. This event is FREE to the public and geared towards scientists, stargazers, explorers, and learners of all ages!
This year, AerospaceFest will extend both outdoors and inside the Discovery Center, meaning visitors can enjoy the Discovery Center exhibit halls, new Science Playground, and observatory as well as all the wonderful guest exhibitors, science-based activities, and a full line-up of fun on the main stage outside including music/activities by Nazzy of Precision Entertainment DJs, and a performance by Mr. Aaron.
Parking for this event is also free! Food, beverages, and ice cream is for sale on-site by The Starlite Cafe'. Reservation is not required!
As always, AerospaceFest means the debut of a brand-new planetarium show that plays at 11am, 12pm, 1pm, and 3pm.
Tickets are free- donation suggested, and will be given out at the Welcome Tent on a first come, first serve basis beginning at 10:30pm

12:30pm: First Rocket Launch Opportunity on the Quad
1:00pm: Third Showing of 3-2-1 Liftoff!
1:30pm: Alex Higgins Memorial Space Camp Scholarship Awards followed by Keynote Speaker: Dr. Jay Buckey
3pm: Fourth and Final Showing of 3-2-1 Liftoff!
3:30pm: Second Rocket Launch Opportunity on the Quad
4:00pm: AerospaceFest Ends
