The Adams County Arts Council is thrilled to announce they will receive a $3,000 mini-grant from the Lincoln Highway Heritage Corridor to support the Arts Oasis on Lincoln Square program. This grant is made possible through the Community Conservation Partnership Program and the Heritage Areas Programs under the administration of the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (DCNR), Bureau of Recreation and Conservation, and demonstrates the Department’s commitment to strengthening communities through innovative projects. 

The Arts Oasis on Lincoln Square, which schedules free performances and demonstrations from May through October, is a vibrant celebration of local artists, musicians, and community partners. The venue plays a pivotal role in bringing community together and supports the local economy by providing entertainment and activities in the downtown area.

"This funding directly supports our mission to cultivate an arts-rich community by providing a space for local artists and musicians to share their work, while fostering connections between residents, visitors, and local businesses in our downtown area. The Adams County Arts Council has a rich history of promoting arts and culture throughout Adams County. With the support from this grant, the Arts Oasis program will be able to:

- Contract with local professional artists and musicians, offering them much-needed visibility to showcase their work.

- Expand outreach and engagement efforts to schools and area non-profits interested in sharing art and music with the community.

- Strengthen partnerships with local businesses and the local economy by attracting visitors and residents to downtown events.
