A SPECIAL APPEAL FROM WAYNE SCOTT AND

KEEP THE CANDLE BURNING

Dear LifeHouse Theater Family,

For 31 seasons now, LifeHouse has stood as a beacon of faith-filled storytelling. We’re a place where lives are touched, imaginations are sparked, and truth is proclaimed through the power of live theater.

Thousands of guests and cast storytellers have found inspiration on our stage. Countless lives have been impacted by the hopeful messages woven into every production.

We’re a theater arts refuge for so many!

With a track record like ours, people tell me they can’t believe I need to fundraise. One guest recently asked me, “Who wouldn’t want to support LifeHouse’s impact in the Inland Empire?”

And many people do partner with us financially. But just now, not quite enough.

The truth is, nonprofit theaters across the country are struggling. More than one-third of performing arts organizations have closed in recent years, and many others are barely holding on. Donations to theater arts organizations is down 12% nationally. Ticket sales alone—whether on Broadway, in Los Angeles, or here in our own community—never fully cover the true costs of producing live theater.

Yet, LifeHouse remains a place where families experience uplifting, transformational stories. It’s the faithful support of patrons like you keep ticket prices accessible for families.

We need your help to continue.

Rising costs, economic uncertainty, and the challenges of attracting new donors are combining to create an urgent financial need.

In order to continue our mission and bridge the gap between now and our upcoming May 10 Season Celebration event, we must raise $25,000 as soon as possible.

Would you prayerfully consider a tax-deductible gift today? Every donation, no matter the amount, will help sustain LifeHouse as we prepare for our 32nd season and beyond.

Your support enables us to:

  • Keep our stage lights on so we can keep telling inspirational, faith-affirming stories.
  • Continue employing a modest staff dedicated to serving you and our mission
  • Provide a home for family-friendly experiences of hope and redemption

LifeHouse is more than just a theater—it is a ministry, a sanctuary, and a place where God moves through storytelling. We constantly hear how productions have stirred hearts, and deepened faith.

As one patron recently shared:

“LifeHouse is more than entertainment—it’s an experience that brings my family closer to God every time we attend."

If you believe in our mission, if LifeHouse has blessed you, or if you simply want to ensure that Christ-honoring theater continues to impact lives, we ask you to stand with us today.

Your gift will make a difference
