A Message From the Desk of the Director

Dear friends,

It has been my honor to visit with you during the weeks that our Executive Director is away.  I have enjoyed stopping in the studios and visiting with you, meeting our new instructors and students and visiting familiar faces.

I hope you are enjoying the Members' Exhibition in the Jeannie Tengelsen Gallery.  Our Go APE reception will be on March 9th from 1-3pm. We are thrilled to host this important exhibition for our high school A.P. art students this year in spite of being closed during its regular time frame.  At the end of the month we will welcome the Long Island Craft Guild’s “Seeing the Other” exhibition, which was open for one day before we closed in the fall.  Please be sure to join the reception on March 30th.

The spring class schedule is on our website!  We continue to offer a complete slate of classes in all of your favorite mediums.  Perhaps you’re interested in trying something new?  We have something for everyone.  You can see our full list of classes here.

Parents, our Summer Portfolio Program and  Summer Art Adventure Program are open for registration.

Interested in volunteering with us?  Let us know!  We are always looking for assistance in the gallery or with our Young Artist classes.

Please renew your membership and enjoy the benefits that it provides, including discounts to our classes and for supplies at your favorite supply stores. Any way you look at it, there is something for everyone and an avenue for you to be involved.
